Free On-Site Consultation

We visit your property and look at the yard in person, where the sun and wind come from, how level the ground is, and how you want to use the space. Whether you are assembling a kit you already bought, choosing a supplied and installed model, or considering a custom cedar build, we talk through structure type, size, placement, and foundation, and give you a clear sense of scope and rough cost before you commit to anything.

Design & Base Planning

We finalize the structure, its exact position, and the foundation it needs, concrete piers or a paver pad, sized and specified for your gazebo. We confirm whether the size triggers a building permit in your municipality, check zoning setbacks, and plan any conduit runs for lighting or fans before the base goes in. Our quotes are itemized and specific, so you know exactly what you are paying for before work begins.

Foundation & Pad Build

We build the base the gazebo will live on. For piers, we excavate below the frost line and pour concrete footings that will not heave. For a paver pad, we excavate, build a compacted granular base, and lay an interlocking surface that is dead level and sized to the structure. This unglamorous phase is where a gazebo is won or lost, and we do not rush it.

Assembly & Anchoring

We assemble your kit or frame the custom build, square, plumb, and torqued to spec, then anchor the structure into the piers or pad with hardware rated for wind uplift. An unanchored gazebo is a kite waiting for a storm, so anchoring is standard on every install we do, not an add-on.

Finishing, Lighting & Handoff

We finish trim and caps, coordinate a licensed electrician for any lighting, fans, or outlets, and walk the finished structure with you. The site is fully restored, equipment removed, debris hauled, landscaping corrected, and your 5-year workmanship warranty on our installation and base work is issued in writing.

Why Foundations & Anchoring Matter So Much

The two forces that destroy gazebos in Ontario are frost and wind. Posts resting on soil heave and sink with every freeze-thaw cycle until the frame racks and the roof panels pop. Wind gets under a solid roof and lifts, an unanchored gazebo can flip in a single summer storm. Piers below the frost line or a compacted pad solve the first problem, rated anchors solve the second. Neither is visible when the job is done, and both are non-negotiable.

Electrical, Lighting & Fans

Lighting is what turns a gazebo from a daytime shade structure into the room you use every evening. The time to plan it is before the foundation goes in, so conduit can run under the pad instead of over the lawn.
